A Study of Acts 11-19: Road Trip!

 

The purpose of this study is for you to be challenged by the Apostle Paul and his ministry partners to approach all of life’s encounters as opportunities to share the gospel. The Holy Spirit empowered the first Christians to be witnesses to the saving work of Jesus Christ. Because of their courage, often in the face of persecution, peoples’ lives were changed forever. It’s no exaggeration that the events recorded in these chapters of Acts transformed the world. They can also transform you, if you believe what they say, obey what they command, and hold tight to their promises.

 

When we read about the ministry of believers in the Book of Acts we learn the qualities and the attributes that should characterize every church, a body of believers in Jesus doing life together. Together we worship and study God’s word, we share generously with those in need, we endure hardship while holding fast to our faith, and all the time we boldly proclaim the gospel, that Jesus is the Son of God who became a man to be the Savior of all who believe. It is time for a Road Trip . . .
